Faith and Dan
Meet Faith and Dan! They’re our amazing videography team! They shoot our tasty style videos out of their home studio in sunny St Pete, Florida
Hey guys, my name is Colby Blum, and I have recently joined this incredible team. I grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and had practically lived here my whole life.
Growing up, I was diagnosed with seizures. It was an up and down battle with school and seeing the neurologist once a week. One day after about 13 years of ups and downs, seeing the neurologists once a week and taking a whole lot of medication, I was told that I grew out of them, and I am so blessed to this day.
The only downfall to all this is growing up, I always wanted to be a pilot, but after high school, when I went in to try to apply for schooling, one of the first things they asked for was my medical history. Sure enough, that was enough to put an “X” on that dream.
So then I said, “well, I can’t do that, so why not pursue something in the airline industry.” Then about a year later, I got hired by Southwest airlines. Still to this day, I am employed by Southwest, but I wanted to step it up a notch and start working alongside my beautiful girlfriend and her excellent business partner Erica!
Through high school, I took classes that consisted of a lot of video editing, and I enjoyed it, so now I’m going to be working alongside both of them editing your tasty style videos and social media management.
I’ve also started my own travel blog, happymonthlytraveler.com where I show you some of my favorite places to visit.
